Causes Of Female InfertilityThere are many reasons that could cause a woman to be infertile from damage to reproductive organs to early menopause. Some of the most common causes of female infertility are: * Ovulation disorders. * Early menopause * Fallopian tube damage * Fallopian tube blockage * Endometriosis * Pelvic adhesions * Ovulation disorders * Uterine fibroids * Polycystic ovary syndrome * elevated prolactin levels A very prominent discussion among women sometimes is about menopause but what about when it interferes with your plans to conceive. Some females develop early menopause otherwise known as premature ovarian failure. The reason is often unknown as to why a particular woman prior to the age of 35 would go into menopause thus an absence of menstruation. But there are some conditions that can be commonly associated with its occurrence such as: * Hypothyroidism which results in too little thyroid hormone * Smoking of tobacco * Autoimmune disease where the body’s antibodies attack its own ovaries * Radiation and chemotherapy treatments fro cancer A tubal infection might cause fallopian tube damage or even a blockage. The condition usually happens as a result of some type of inflammation in the fallopian tube. This type of condition might go unnoticed on the other hand it can cause noticeable fever and pain. One of the most common causes of tubal inflammation is Chlamydia. If the fallopian tubes become infected, that can result in enough damage to cause an issue with fertility. The resulting damage to the fallopian tubes will cause scarring and blockages that can prevent pregnancy or cause a tubal pregnancy. One very often painful condition that can interfere with fertilization is called endometriosis. There is tissue in the uterus that lines the inside that can spread to the fallopian tubes, ovaries and to the outside wall of the uterus. It is not something it supposed to do but it does and in the process of implanting itself on these internal parts it goes through the normal female cycle. The growths bleed, grow, and shed each month in combination with the menses. This causes scarring and inflammation along with pelvic pain. This condition can lead to infertility very easily and is quite common. A problem that results after a surgical operation is often scarring in an excessive manner. There are bands of scars that connect and bind organs that can cause an impairment of fertility, limit proper functioning of the ovaries and the fallopian tubes. These pelvic adhesions can result from appendicitis, an infection, or surgery. There is a condition call asherman’s syndrome that can occur after surgery that is applied to help control bleeding in the uterus from giving birth. The procedure can result in a closed up uterus or blockage of the uterus with scar tissue. While there are infertility issues related to ovulation that causes deficiencies in hormones that affect ovulation. Even small fluctuations in the hormone production can result in impairment. The disorders are known as hypothalamic and pituitary disorders. They can be caused by: * Anorexia nervosa * Pituitary tumors * Excessive exercise * Direct injury to the hypothalamus * Direct injury to the pituitary gland There are other causes to possible too such as: * Medical conditions and diseases * Cancer treatment or chemotherapy * Temporary infertility due to medication * Hyperthyroidism * Hypothyroidism * Reproductive cancers While there are many possible causes of infertility there are some things you can do to help you remain fertile as long as possible and possibly prevent a problem. Some of the steps you can take are: * Eat healthy balanced meals and avoid drinking alcohol. * Don’t smoke cigarettes and stay away from any medications unless your doctor has prescribed them. * Try to avoid over indulgence in exercise and limit your time spent in hot tubs. Most of all take optimal care of your body feeding it the best balanced nutrition you can provide and seek medical care as needed. Doing this will aid you in your battle against any infertility issues.
