A Spiritual Awakening

An article this may be, but a story it will tell, one of a struggle through life that ends in the awakening of spiritual healing.

Through life the young girl had battled adversity, suffering through her parents broken marriage, her life in and out of hospital after having an illness that left her in a wheel chair and the feeling of pain as her father lost interest in and did not bother with her anymore.

Due to these life events the young girl felt destitute and alone on an emotional level, even when others were around her. Over time these feelings grew, it seemed that the older she became, the more they grew inside.

One day it came to a point where this you girl, who had now grown in to a young woman needed to find a release for all her pain, and find a way of looking to the future, a future where she could be happy and her life would be different.

Over time she met a multitude of different people who said they would introduce her to a lot of different groups, each time it felt that they were not the right people for her, she needed to meet people but also find a way of putting her old life behind her.

One day this young woman started talking to a more quiet colleague at work and found that she was interested in spiritual healing, a type of healing for the mind, body and soul that she had never heard of. Spiritual healing sounded like a great idea to this young woman, especially given her situation and the type of things it could help so she thought "what the hell" and decided to go along one evening.

On the evening in question the young lady had an argument with her mother, the one person who was always on her case, the one person that helped her through the dark times but was also a very selfish person also.

When she arrived the young lady was surprised at the setting as it was in the conference room of a rather posh hotel. She settled down and started to watch the healings occur and wondered if this was to good to be true, or just a show to inspire.

Over the coming weeks the young lady went to the same place, meeting the same people and became more attached to the setting and ideals that were part of the group.

After a month or so she decided that given her physical issue and mental anguish it might not hurt to take the healing herself, so it was agreed the following week would be the week she was given the power of spiritual healing.

The following week came quickly and she became anxious as her turn to take the stage came. The young lady went through the healing techniques and started feeling different, she was not sure if it was the healing itself or if it had awoken a new outlook within her, either way she was happy.

Over the coming weeks her physical condition stayed the same, but the young lady noticed a change in her outlook. It seemed that the spiritual healing had given her the hope and strength to succeed over the pain she felt, where before she was lost.
